Through the US mail. If it's over 12 inches in either direction, roll the picture into a cylinder and send it in a mailing tube. FedEx and UPS are the best options to send photos.

If it's under 12 inches, send it in the appropriate size envelope through the mail. Pad it with cardboard and write "DO NOT FOLD. PHOTOGRAPH INSIDE". Take it into your post office so they can tell you if a special handling fee is required. FedEx and UPS are the best options to send photos, if they are larger
