Ordering information for custom Art Carved Photos™.

We like photos of faces but we will carve almost anything Samples. The larger the detail the better the sculpture. A good rule of thumb is one to two people on a 5 X 7 and up to 3 faces for a 8x10. Detail Example

Original photos can be color or B&W The original image should be sharp without harsh shadows if possible). If you are scanning your photo please make it 300 DPI (dots per inch).

If you send a photo which is not usable we will let you know as soon as possible. It should take a week and a half for us to complete the process once we start.

Other aspects prior to carving are: cropping, resizing, centering, retargeting, removing backgrounds adjusting contrast both generally and in specific areas, removing hot spots, sculpting to add or reduce material, smoothing features, adjusting depth and various other aspects using up to 5 different computer programs.

In several hours your image becomes a 3D sculpture that is amazing. Our artistry produces carvings and sculptures of the finest quality. Our computers do much of the work and the rest is automatically carved on special machines.
